Yes. We have the required Public Liability Insurance and Employee Liability Insurance. Evidence of these can be provided. We are able to provide a risk assessment prior to our visit.

Yes. Our workshop runners have enhanced DBS checks. We will bring the certificates when we visit and can email proof in advance if required.

Our workshops are available in 3 hour (half-day) or 5-6 hour (full day) blocks. One workshop block can facilitate 30 children providing there is adequate space for our equipment. We are happy to produce a more specific timetable based on the classroom information you provide.

Each participant will need enough desk space to work on a 9’’x12’’ lightbox. We will provide extension cables to power the lightboxes, these will need to be plugged in to a power socket. Access to a screen is desirable but not essential.

We will be using a scanner and laptop to scan each drawn frame throughout the workshop. All produced animation will be uploaded to a youtube playlist and the link will be sent over after the workshop.

Unlike with digital software, 2D animation requires particular skills in planning ahead, critical thinking, and patience! Participants will be limited in how often they can check their progress and will be taught animation techniques to plan their drawings in a methodical and traditional way.
